In this we collect signatures from people oppressed by particular issues and affected by particular
policies/decisions or collect consent from those that support our cause and then we present the
petitions to the decision makers that have power to create the change we want. Through this we
influence decision makers to implement, change or cancel inappropriate regulations or actions.

We facilitate dialogue among policy makers, policy stake holders, and the people affected by the
policies/local vulnerable community. In this process different perspectives and interests of people to
be affected (vulnerable and poor) by the decisions and policies are considered during planning and
implementation. In this we are able to encourage transparency and accountability from corporates,
government and all implementors of policies that affect the vulnerable community and the poor who
suffer hardest when these decisions are not supportive to them. The issue of sustainability is also
addressed here. Most times policies that affect community, environment and climate have fallen
short of the threshold of sustainability and have ended up causing extinction of alternative resources
paramount to development.

In this pathway we improve community knowledge, raise awareness and share information on
aspects that affect them positively or negatively .in this the communities are afforded a platform to
react on issues that affect them which gives feedback to the policy makers to draft policies that are
pro community. The aspects we create awareness about include, human rights, land rights, law,
better agricultural practices to improve food security, inclusive sustainable and responsible utilization
of resources to avoid them turning into curse and or causing the extinction of nature and
environment. We sensitize against gender inequality and gender-based violence, teach children
rights, sensitize the need for transition from fossil fuels to just clean and renewable energy among
other aspects.
